River City Church

A vibrant Christian church in the East of Hull that wants to bring life in all its fullness to people across the city.

No matter where you are from, if you have previous experience of church or not, we know it can be an intimidating thing to come to a new church for the first time. We believe that if you come to River City you will find a warm welcome from people who will try their best to help you feel at home, will explain anything that you don't understand, and will make sure you've enjoyed your time with us as much as possible.

The best way to get to know us is to come and visit. We're excited to offer in person services as well as online. River City Church is a place where you can explore faith, ask questions, and find hope in Jesus. We can't wait to see you this Sunday!

 
 

  • Join us in our new building or tune in from home. God has blessed us with a wonderful venue in the heart of East Hull that allows is to be a well of living-giving sustainance to our community.

  • A typical service at River City lasts an hour and a half. We start with a time of singing (we call it worship) led by a band, a relevant message based on a Biblical text or idea. We focus on Jesus and teach messages that can be put into practice right away. You'll love it!

  • During our meetings we offer children of Primary School age the opportunity to participate in some activities and teaching more relevant for their age. This is led by a great team of volunteers and we have clear safeguarding procedures in place to ensure that your children are safe and well cared for while they are with us.

  • We love young people and want them to have the opportunity to make friends with kids their own age, give them a chance to explore their own thoughts about faith and have a safe place to call their own. We run bi-weekly Sunday morning youth work sessions and will soon be launching a Friday Night called REEF.

  • We believe the family of God should include all the nations! We love that the RC family is made up of many internationals from all over the world including, Ghana, Nigeria, the Netherlands, Burma, Lativa and Russia to name just a few.
